About me

My name is Ádám Túri, I am a 18-year-old juggler. I started this very difficult profession when I was about ten years old. I juggle balls, hoops and maces in my shows. I have always liked the world of circuses and wanted to try myself in it. The jugglers were the closest to me, that’s why I chose this. Juggling is the most time-consuming genre in the circus, as it can take years to complete a trick. Since I was young, I have been practicing for several hours on a daily basis. In seven years I reached the level of juggling six hoops and balls and four maces.

I have performed juggling in many places, including theaters, weddings, school and kindergarten events, and several circuses. Outstanding among them is the fact that I was able to perform at the Night of Circuses in 2022 and 2023, at the Great Circus in Főváros. In addition, I had several performances in the Richter Szafari Park and in the country’s largest traveling circus, the Hungarian National Circus, which jr. József Richter leads. But I have also performed in smaller traveling circuses for several weeks.

Night of Circuses 2023

This year, on the evening of July 15, I had the opportunity to perform for the second time with my juggling act at the Night of Circuses organized by Fővárosi Nagycirkusz, which was an extra-long show lasting one night, with special and famous performers. I performed a completely renewed, much more professional and complex number, which was received by the audience with twice as much applause compared to last year. My goal was to surpass my performance last year, and I’m glad that I did. It is a huge thing that at the age of 17 I performed for the second time in the Budapest Grand Circus, because as far as I know in the history of the circus, there has never been a case where someone who was not born into an artist and circus dynasty performed there at that age. I am the only one in the country, and even in the world, who managed to do this and write myself into the history of the circus.
